16ARMEDJACK (Illegal Records)
Not only a producer and dub dropping selector, but is also a founder of
Illegal Records and sound crew. Having recently returned to Toronto,
Jack will continue to unite sound crews and people bringing the music
back into the light! It will take a bullet to stop him from taking ragga
by storm, and the rest we'll save for the DUB FI DUB!!!
C-RAT (Illegal Sound)
The Toronto Star called him the city's best dj with one arm. A founder
of Illegal Sound, C-rat has been playing everywhere from downtown
toilets to Montreal in the days of the Blue Dog to illegal jungle spots. An
original lover of the old school and ragga genre, C-Rat sticks to his guns
and has no time for weak beats and weaker bass. He has cut his teeth
with best and has been around for a fuck of a long time.
LUCKY GENERAL (Highgrade)
The one and only Lucky General will be hosting the evening. Lucky General
has been a strong voice in the jungle scene for over a decade, showcasing
his talent in many different genres. When he co-founded Highgrade Productions
in 2006, he began directing his focus on promoting the reggae & ragga
jungle movement. Collaborating with many artists over the years, he has
been recognized as one of the most versatile MCs in Toronto.
