its still gonna happen, only its just gonna be potheads squatting in queens park. no food vendors, live music or washrooms on site. ah well it was fun while it lasted.

micro is bang on. I smoke everyday but that marching embarrassment is sketchier than comfort zone at 9am
I've done the march, twice. From my experience, the majority of people that actually end up marching are quite a bit different than the 16 year old wiggers that just sit around the park getting stoned all day in little groups. I don't really sense what is incredibly sketchy about the march itself, its like any other march, people have signs, make noise, hold up banners. That's about it. People from the street stare at the novetly of it all just as they do when any march goes by.
My point is this, if you think the march is an embarrasment, how do you propose a large group of people advocate for the decriminalization / legalization of marijuana in the biggest city in Canada?
True true about the actual March. That part is ok. The picnic after is just sad.
I enjoyed the music stage and the indian food cart the most and it was nice to be able to walk with my bong in public like it was nothing
Seriously. I hate it when I'm doing something I enjoy and then other people come and do the same damned thing. Fucking gatherings of people. I don't look like a total sketchbag smoking a joint in a park in the summer sun, but when other people have the same idea and like the same stuff as me. UGH. I went to this concern to see this good band that I like, but then all these people were there and they also liked the band. WORST.
