Dark Frequency would like to welcome back to Toronto the Dubstep Ambassdor of North America, Mr Joe Nice for a 2 hour dubplate filled session. We are also pleased to be having the 40hz Soundsytem out for reinforcement of bass.
Representing Baltimore, JoeNice is universally recognized as the ambassador of the dubstep sound in North America and has been instrumental in the growth and success of dubstep for nearly a decade. In other words, he's been playing dubstep before it was called dubstep.
Joe's monthly radio show on GourmetBeats.com was the first to feature dubstep in the states and his Worldwide fan base continues to grow with his enthusiastic stage presence & live performance, upfront selection and skilful mixing. Joe's record bag is a who's who of dubstep... if you've never heard it before, chances are, you’ll hear it from Joe Nice.
He is the first American-based DJ to play on London pirate radio, Rinse FM, the first American-based DJ to play the legendary DMZ bi-monthly bash and the first American-based DJ to play FWD>> @ Plastic People. JoeNice is one of the most sort after artists, not just from the US but the world over, having played every major city around the globe including almost all cities within the United States, multiple cities within Australia & Canada, France, Belgium, Portugal, London and many other cities around Europe, JoeNice is a crowd favourite who keeps them coming back time after time. London, ON based Anthologic gets the attention he deserves as a heavyweight dubplate pusher for Macabre Unit Digital and Innamind Recordings. Getting his dubplates played on Rinse FM by Distance and picked up by Compa, Anthologic is dealin with the biggies of the UK dubstep scene.
One of Toronto's more reclusive DJs, Capro lives in the deep end of the city's bass music scene. Over the past decade he's been active playing and promoting drum & bass and dubstep.
A dj whose played on nearly every stage in the city and remains the driving force behind one of the baddest sound systems out there. Spyne kills it, everytime! With an ear always one step ahead the vibes come proper. Sound systems are his game, riddems for the ribcage.
