But to be honest, the self-felating is a bit annoying. Great, he predicted that Apple, a company that is a market leader while only releasing one cell phone per year, would experience a miss after 26 quarters once competition started to really heat up with a company that licenses their software for releases on multiple products per quarter.
He admits that Android wasn't up to speed in the 26 quarters preceding this Apple miss. Why is it so surprising that they felt short of predictions at the point we're at now with competitors? Or should I say competitor.
A company that grows exponentially and consistently exceeds market predictions is bound to hit a plateau, especially when its plan isn't to flood the market with a variety of versions of its product with varying quality. I'd say it's impressive where they are anyways, so those "I told you so" people are just being dicks. Predicting something that is inevitable and then bragging about your prediction is pathetic.
