From the late Steve Jobs' book entitled... Steve Jobs.
"I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong," Jobs said. "I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this."
"I don't want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won't want it. I've got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that's all I want," Jobs told Schmidt, according to the book.
I don't think he's insinuating that the entire Android OS is based off iOS. I think it has to do with the look, features, etc.
Just some tidbits that I saw posted that I knew you'd enjoy. Even I can admit that the comments are ironic given Jobs' popularization of things that he didn't create. But I'm going to be very interested in reading his book to see more about this.
Kind of identical i suppose. Samsung made it so that its a damn mirror image, but guys like HTC, Motorola made it different looking. Even Vanilla android looks different unless you have the app drawer open.
I mean, didnt apple hop onto the voice command and cloud storage thing? Wasnt that googles?
“The market was expecting very strong iPhone sales going into the product launch,” said Giri Cherukuri, head trader at Oakbrook Investments LLC, which holds Apple shares. “It stands to reason that a lot of people were waiting for the new iPhone to come out.”
Again, Bullshit! Why didn't this phenomena occur during the last three product launches? Oh yeah, that's right, because Android wasn't up to speed by then.
