NES is impossible

Last night, after some serious stretching, my friend and I made it into the Technodrome of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for NES. Yeah that's right. INSIDE! We were on the final map but couldn't pull off history and pass the game. What the hell is up with TMNT being the hardest game in all of ever??!!! How, if we couldn't, are little children supposed to beat that thing??? Why didn't I sleep until 6 a.m. because I was too busy visiting my youth??

Are there any games you found impossible on NES? Can anyone relate to my story with TMNT and share in my frustration... please.... GAH!H!H!H!H!H!!H!!!!

I could finish Mario 2 in like 25 minutes when I was a kid. No joke.
Finished a few of the mega man games too, btu yeah , most NES games were so hard they were unplayable. That was the biggest problem with most of those games. Anyone rememeber Top Gun? Impossible
