Depends. I have a bunch of Reeces i made with random Synths and processed with some tube Dists like Amplitube. Then i throw them into Kontakt and filter, using a phaser after the filtering in the chain just for it to sweep and get the mids to punch out more. Also an EQ after the filtering too boosting the mids. Rolling off lows too and having another Reece with a low bass to bring out the subs but i think i am gonna stop doing that and use bounced sine waves and layer those cause the rolled off Reeces make shit for bass i recently discovered. Just cause of the osc in the detunes. The harmonics don't sit well and i can't get the subs in em to really stand out all that much. It's really simple actually. It's all in the processing though. Pre process then filter and bend all of that shit...

There is a bass or a kick drum pounding in the left speaker.

Rule: Kicks, Snares, Bass always center or mono... Your stabs (Bass) Sound wide panned too....

Sounds like it has lot's of potential.. Got a build up quality to it..

im running ableton reason and cubase
i make everything in ableton then use reason and cubase for the synths/pads/vst's
just got cubase last week still trying to figure everything out

Cubase is pretty simple to use.


Here is something i started yesterday i can't write a fuckin bassline for this. I haven't done an amen tune in awhile thats probably why!!!

He hasn't even heard of dubstep, nor has he ever used cubase, but he was still a major part of the creationg of this idea.
