If anyone has a studio condensor mic, studio monitors, or a soundcard for sale let me know... i'm looking to purchase all of the above in the next month or two...Equipment must be in excellent grade A shape!... This is a great new addition to Torontojungle btw!!!! hope somebody's got something... buying all this equip brand new is so mad expensive!!!

go to Long & Macquade and ask about the Edirol M-16DX, its a sound card and a external mixer, usually costs 8 bills at moog but at long & mcquade its 450 including taxes. Definitely worth the money!

Recording into Sound Forge probably... why man? Any other suggestions perhaps?
I'm using a standard dell laptop computer.. but i wanna eventually wanna switch over to mac. Any better programs for mac?

well if u get pro tools you get an mbox with it, has 2 mic inputs and speaker outputs

instruction manual will tell you how to use everything. You learn by doing, the more you use it the better you get at using. The complicated parts are using the effects, updating the driver and setting up your room for your mic. If you don't setup any foam in your room to cancel unwanted noise, your going to get a lot of unwanted feedback and other noises. You might have to get one of these:
