SUBHUMAN (Muti Music, Dubslingers)
Subhuman has been representing the frontlines of the Toronto Dubstep scene,
both as a DJ and a producer. Heavily influenced by rock music, much of his electronic
production is adapted from music he has written for guitarplaying. He began producing
triphop and a variety of other instrumental music 10 years ago, becoming a DJ after
he was exposed to the rave scene. His first release came last year, remixing Ill Gates
& Meesha's tune 'Sweatshop' on Muti Music where he has further releases in the
works. A member of the notorious Dubslingers camp, Subhuman has also been billed
on jams for Subtrac, Bassfish, Naissance, and Why?Fest and continues to be a strong
force to be reckoned with, pushing forward the deepest side of bass music. This week
expect something a touch different with a set of dnb and deep progressive breaks.
